A New Generation of Sealing Technology for Rigid Containers: Induction Sealing for Reuse
RESCASET has developed a patented induction sealing technology designed for reusable rigid containers. It can seal stainless steel trays and bins as well as conductive porcelain containers, while overcoming the limitations of traditional thermal sealing. The principle is based on sealing without direct thermal contact. Heating occurs only during the sealing phase, unlike thermal contact sealing, which requires continuous heating. This technology thus combines speed, high-quality sealing, and controlled energy consumption.
It is available for both stand-alone machines and in-line solutions to accommodate various production configurations.
Faster, more efficient, more flexible
RESCASET induction technology was designed to improve the performance of packaging operations.
In particular, it offers:
Easy integration into existing equipment thanks to a compact design comparable to that of thermocontact tools. RESCASET INDUCTION SEALING
– Up to 50% shorter sealing time compared to thermocontact;
– Energy savings of nearly 40% compared to traditional sealing;
– Active heating only during the sealing cycle;
– Useof cold, quickly interchangeabletools, requiring no preheating and no tools;
÷ 2 Curing time
≈ –40% energy consumption
Innovation Recognized by the Jury at CFIA 2026
For 50 years, we have been innovating to serve the institutional food service industry

Reuse involves containers that undergo numerous cycles of use, handling, and washing. RESCASET technology was developed to accommodate variations in the flatness and rigidity of containers.
A flexible seal compensates for variations in flatness to maintain optimal contact between the film and the container and ensure a high-quality seal.
The solution is compatible with several families of containers:
RESCASET stainless steel trays
A solution designed for foodservice and reusable packaging applications.
Standard stainless steel containers available on the market
. This technology also allows for the sealing of existing stainless steel containers.
RESCASET Conductive Porcelain
RESCASET has also developed a specific line of sealable porcelain containers.
Technology Tailored to Your Production Equipment
Induction technology can be implemented on both workstation equipment and packaging lines.
For workstation machines, RESCASET offers the ACTITRACK Mini and ACTITRACK Pro solutions. For in-line applications, the technology is available on the next-generation POLYTRACK.
Compatible with several container sizes:
GN 1/2, GN 1/3, GN 1/4, and GN 1/8, with the ability to process multiple containers simultaneously depending on the machine and the size used.
The compact design of induction tools also makes it possible to integrate them into existing machines, which can facilitate the transition of a packaging facility to this new technology.
